South Adventure

The Desert & Kasbah Adventure is a sweeping road journey through Morocco’s High Atlas Mountains, ancient fortified villages (kasbahs), lush palm-filled valleys, and into the heart of the Sahara Desert. Over 6 to 7 days, you’ll discover historic sites like Aït Benhaddou, Dades Gorge, and Todgha Canyon, before riding camels into the desert at Erg Chebbi or Erg Chigaga for an unforgettable night under the stars in a traditional Berber camp. This trip combines cultural immersion, natural wonders, and the timeless beauty of southern Morocco — perfect for adventurers, couples, and culture seekers.

Day 1: Arrivals Marrakech airport

Transfers to your accommodation and meet your fellow travellers and your guide 

join for a welcome meeting to discover more about the trip.

Day 2: Marrakech – Aït Benhaddou – Ouarzazate

Depart Marrakech via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260 m) with stops for panoramic views.

Visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Aït Benhaddou, a famous ksar (fortified village).

Continue to Ouarzazate, the “Hollywood of Morocco,” 

Overnight in Ouarzazate 

Meals: Breakfast & Dinner
Accommodation: Hotel/Riad

Activities: visit of the fortified village


Day 3: Ouarzazate – Dades Valley

Morning visit to the Skoura Palm Grove and Amridil Kasbah.

Drive through the Valley of Roses

Afternoon hike or walk in the scenic of Dades ( optional).

Overnight in Dades Valley.

Meals: Breakfast, Dinner
Accommodation: Kasbah lodge or guesthouse


Day 4: Dades Valley – Todgha Gorge – Merzouga Sahara

Travel to Todgha Gorge, with time for a short walk through the towering canyon.

Continue to Erfoud and Rissani, stopping for fossils or traditional market visits.

Arrive in Merzouga, gateway to Erg Chebbi dunes.

Camel ride into the dunes for the sunset.

Overnight in a desert camp, with Berber music under the stars.

Day 5: Merzouga – Draa Valley –  Agdez

Sunrise and breakfast at the camp.

Drive along the Draa Valley, Morocco’s longest river and a sea of palm trees.

Overnight in Agdz or Zagora.

Meals: Breakfast, Dinner
Accommodation: Guesthouse or kasbah


Day 6: Agdez – Agadir

Scenic  drive through the valley

first stop in Taznakht (famous for carpets).

stop in Talouin ( famous for Safron)

Late evening

Meals: Breakfast
Accommodation: Hotel/Riad

 Day 7: Agadir – Essaouira

Surfing activity, optional.

Day 8: Essaouira – guided tour

Today we enjoy our walking city tour and explore its vibrent streets, souks, local market, architecture and history.

 Evening is free to discover on your own.

Day 9: Marrakech

drive back to Marrakech city and join a local guide to discover more the the red city.

perfect spot after the visit to join all for a farwell diner in a local resturant.

Day 10: departures:

Transfers to the airport Marrakech

Meals: Breakfast

Activities: No activity
