Berber Heritage Experience – Detailed Itinerary (4 Days / 3 Nights)
Day 1: Marrakech – Imlil Valley – Aremd Village
Pick-up from your hotel in Marrakech in the morning. Scenic drive to the Imlil Valley (approx. 1.5–2 hours), gateway to the High Atlas Mountains. Meet your local Berber guide and begin a light trek (1–2 hours) to the picturesque village of Aremd. Settle into a traditional Berber guesthouse with mountain views. Enjoy a home-cooked Berber lunch and take part in a mint tea ceremony. In the afternoon, explore the village and learn about traditional irrigation systems, architecture, and local farming. Optional activity: Help bake fresh bread in a clay oven with your host family.

Day 2: Aremd – Tizi n’Tamatert – Tinghrine – Tizi Oussem
After breakfast, begin a moderate trek via Tizi n’Tamatert Pass (~2,300m) with spectacular views of Imnane Valley. Stop in Tinghrine village for tea and cultural exchange. Continue hiking through terraced farmland and remote hamlets until you reach Tizi Oussem. Learn about local olive oil production and visit a village cooperative. Arrive at your guesthouse and enjoy a Berber hammam (steam bath) if available.
